Grundfos GHP pumps are single stage, self-priming pumps. This optimised pump range offers increased efficiency compared to traditional side channel pumps and can have a long operational life.
The efficient and durable GHP pumps are designed to offer reliable operation even under tough conditions such as those experiences in the cleaning processes.
Sanitary applications
GHP pumps are designed for operations in sanitary processes and meet strict hygienic criteria. Processes include:-
- CIP return (cleaning process)
- Evacuation of tanks and pipes
- pumping liquids with a high gas content
- pumping liquids in the food and beverage industry
Application
The robust design of the GHP enables the pump to handle liquids with a high air content, such as in CIP systems. Hence, the same pump can be used for product conveyance and for the cleaning processes. Compared to other side channel pumps, GHP pumps are able to handle liquids and products containing particles.
The impellers on the GHP can be adjusted to accommodate the exact duty points required. resulting in a low noise level.
